The south arroyo is a location in Fallout: New California. It is a section of the arroyo which travels through the Pass.

The south arroyo is a wide open stretch of a dry river bed, now more akin to a canyon, which leads north-south through the Pass. Constant dust storms blow overhead.
Following the arroyo south will lead to several radscorpions, increasing amounts of radiation, and eventually the south wash canyon rockslide, while just north is a large sand bar. The Fire Worshipers, who have claimed the area around the sand bar as their own, can be found attacking the New Reno drug runner and several wastelanders at a campfire, and will easily slaughter them if the player does not step in. A bighorner and a few mutant javalinas also roam the area.
