Pinehaven Hospital is a location in Fallout: New California.
Background[]
On April 19th, 2053, the hospital agreed to treat several Athens High School students for the New Plague.[1]
Layout[]
The hospital consists of a hallway that connects to a cafeteria and its kitchen, as well as two stairwells that are blocked off by rubble. Years of disrepair have damaged the gas pipes, leading to parts of the facility being filled with explosive gas. The baby carriage near the back of the hallway is filled with mines and will explode if one gets too close, which will also ignite the gas hanging in the air.
Once the carriage trap has been avoided, one can grab the Fixer off the shelves and access the safe to get the blood packs for Johnny. If Jenn is a companion, she can open the safe.
Notable loot[]
- Old Desert Ranger Memoir, Page 1 - Note, first of four written by an old Desert Ranger, found in a metal box near the hospital door.
- A note, Hidden Safehouse, and a key to the Pinehaven hideout can be found in the Nuka-Cola vending machine in the cafeteria.
- Two RadAways, three doses of Fixer, three Stimpaks, two Med-X, two blood packs and some caps can be found on the shelves and in the safe at the end of the hallway.
- A D.C. Journal of Internal Medicine can be found on one of the dining tables in the cafeteria.
- A 5.56 mm armor piercing magazine can be found on a cafeteria tray next to a pile of knocked over tables.
