Kira Mann is an adopted tribal resident of Vault 18, working as Kevin Rossman's assistant. She is a possible permanent companion in Fallout: New California and Fallout: New Vegas.
Background[]
Kira was, like the Star Player, a tribal orphan who was taken into Vault 18 as a child and was raised by the Manns, who were outwardly kind but secretly abusive foster parents, whom she despised. Eventually, she accused them in public in the hopes of escaping them. However, Jenn Hail, as a trusted child of vault dwellers, did not believe her and was able to get the overseer to keep them together by force, trapping Kira with her abusive parents. This led to Kira developing an intense hatred for Jenn.
Kira is confirmed to have Asperger's, a high-functioning form of autism.[1] She has had her share of unfortunate situations, from abusive parents to never fitting in to the Vault. She has no trouble letting people know exactly what she's thinking about them or any negative emotions she may be feeling at the time and has little regard for how other people feel about her.

Quests[]
Rescue Me Mann[]
After completing New California, if Kira was brought as a companion to the final battle at Fort Daggerpoint, talking to Jenn in Goodsprings can reveal that Kira is now working with the Van Graffs in the Silver Rush. A quest will then be given to rescue her from Jean-Baptiste Cutting and Gloria Van Graff.
