Reading this book permanently increases the player character's Melee Weapons skill by 3 points (4 with the Comprehension perk). There are six copies of the book in the mod, for a total of 18 skill points (24 with Comprehension.)
Locations[]
The skill book can be found in the following locations.
- Vault 18, prologue:
- One is provided by John Bragg on the Path of the Warrior in the Prologue by passing a Charisma 6 check.
- Coach Bragg's Office: On his desk, must be stolen.
- Vault 18 Atrium: On a diner table along with some magazines and an Energy Weapons skill book.
- Vault 18 Upper Apartments: On a table near the swimming pool.
- One is sold by Six Finger Discount at Athens-Tec Mine. It is contained in his merchant inventory chest behind the counter of the Six Finger Discount shop and can be stolen/looted if the Very Hard lock is picked.
- On a table inside the sandcrete residence in Union City.
