Reading this book permanently increases the player character's Sneak skill by 3 points (4 with the Comprehension perk). There are 8 copies of this book in the mod, for a total of 24 skill points (32 with Comprehension.)
Locations[]
The skill book can be found in the following locations.
- One is found in the Vault 18 Atrium during the Prequel. It is located above the entrance to the Vault 18 Gymnasium and Arena; this area can be reached by climbing the large rock and the blue pipeline in the Atrium.
- Odyssey: In Gaff's shack on the bed.
- South Ranch:
- One is on the bed in an Athens house. The specific house is the one closest to the bonfire and map marker.
- One is inside the mess hall, in a cooking pot in the Hard-locked kitchen.
- One is found inside a hidden room in an Athens house at Black Horse Ranch. The specific house is next to a swimming pool, all the way at the end of the road when turning left from the main gate. The book is located in a small room that is reached by going into the basement and using the ladder inside.
- Union City:
- One is found on the bed inside the sandcrete house to the right of the Union City gate (the house that Walter The Gate Guard stands on.)
- One is found on the bed inside a separate sandcrete house near The Ram Shack.
- One is contained in a bookshelf in the sandcrete residence.
