Bellringer Guards are creatures in Fallout: New California.
Background[]
Bellringers are those who have been buried alive and partially ghoulified, but still retaining much of their skin and muscle mass (and potentially some of their sanity.) Unlike feral ghouls, they appear to have a permanent shuffle or limp, and thus move very slowly. They also resort to punching attacks instead of the clawing attacks used by ferals.
The bellringer guards are a trio of bellringers who have been coopted by the super mutant behemoth Shogath as guards, and are found in the depths of the Athens-Tec mine.
Notes[]
- The bellringers are respawning creatures.
- A "bellringer" is a reference to safety coffins, which historically used bells and other mechanisms for victims of premature burial to use should they revive after supposed death and burial.
